5 days, 5 self-looks (Wednesday)

I don't like Wednesdays. The great last weekend is already very far away and the next one is still an illusion. I always try to make a day better by what I'm wearing. This Wednesday was F**cking hot in Shanghai and I had to render to the lighter clothes I could find in my closet with the risk of looking as if I was going to the beach.

Birks were a must this time, but they're not only made for beach. They are fantastic for walking. Actually I refuse to place them on the sand; we already have Havaianas for that. Feet ready, I launch into the light of this summer day in May this Zara TRF jumpsuit which includes skirt-pants, palazzo trousers or wide leg pants... you can choose. I already know that it’s going to be my best friend for the coming months. It’s a key point to have a selection of pieces with really light and fresh fabrics and also wide enough to touch the minimum of your skin surface. My black skirt-pants comply with it.

Why am I wearing again the denim jacket? At home in Europe, with our houses facing to the north, we always carry a jacket in summer. It's just in case. And yes, sometimes it's difficult to get rid off that habit although you happen to not wear it in the whole day.

The bag I chose is other of my beloved ones. Céline Gourmette in black suede which is counting the days left until next fall. It's too big for summer. Hot weather makes me to want only purses and wallets on my hands and shoulders.

So this Wednesday ends not that bad as it was presumed, thanks to be prepared for the hot day with no AC. But still the only thing I'm already thinking about is: holidays and beach.
